Biography
Eric is a graduate of Oregon State University with a degree in Construction Engineering Management. After graduation, he was commissioned as an officer in the US Navy, serving eight years as a Naval Flight Officer with deployments to the Persian Gulf and a tour as an instructor. He then transitioned into what is now a decades-long career in construction, bringing leadership and detailed planning to everything he does. His project experience ranges from advanced manufacturing to resort & hospitality to multi-family development.
Eric's primary focus is preconstruction and project planning. Beginning with the first client meeting, he works to understand the client's vision alongside the project's constraints - then builds a plan to bring that vision to life. With a deep understanding of how projects come together, he continually refines the plan, confirms assumptions, and delivers accurate information to decision-makers. Watching a project grow from an initial conversation to a finished build is the result of focused effort and real collaboration and it is the part of the work Eric finds most rewarding.
In his free time Eric enjoys the outdoors with his wife and two golden retrievers. Whether it is a new hiking trail or an out of the way restaurant, he is always on the lookout for the next adventure - big or small.
Fun fact: Eric hiked the Camino de Santiago trail with only the clothes on his back, proving the Camino provides.
