Catena Construction was founded in 2018 as a natural evolution of Sprocket Design Build—an established presence in the Denver market for more than 25 years. Sprocket Design Build was established in 2001 and grew into a highly respected design-build firm known for delivering thoughtful, well-executed projects across Denver metro region.
As Sprocket expanded, a clear opportunity emerged: to separate construction into its own focused entity. Catena Construction was formed to do exactly that—bringing a dedicated, execution-driven approach to building, while allowing Sprocket to concentrate on architecture and development. Today, Sprocket continues to serve as a trusted consultant, and architecture partner providing insight and continuity.
Led by partners Eric Stevens and Curt Lamson, Catena carries forward the foundation it was built on while sharpening its focus on delivering high-quality multifamily projects. With decades of combined experience, the team brings a disciplined, practical approach to construction—grounded in accountability, collaboration, and results.
